  1. Ordinance 01-2024, An Ordinance to Add a Section 90.17 to the Ordinances of the Village of Riverlea, to Prohibit the Feeding of Deer had its second reading and Council discussed aspects of this, such as notification to residents of this potential new ordinance.
  2. Maria Schaper, Associate Director of Transportation Planning for MORPC, addressed Council concerning the Draft Metropolitan Transportation Plan. Residents can access this plan at www.morpc.org/mtp2050.
  3. The Mayor stated that he met with Columbia Gas to discuss the easement to temporarily extend the Riverlea gas line into Worthington during the Selby bridge replacement project and the easement has been executed by both parties.
  4. The Chair of the Infrastructure Committee reported that the committee is reviewing the asset management plan created by Burgess & Niple during the infrastructure project. The committee is currently working on plans to seal some cracks that have appeared in the roads.
  5. The Clerk-Treasurer stated that he has transferred $1.2 million in General and Infrastructure Bond funds to the State Treasury Asset Reserve of Ohio account to receive a higher rate of return.
