Congratulations to Leah Pyter (222 W. Riverglen), who was appointed to the vacated Village Council seat at the Council meeting on August 20th. Leah moved to Riverlea from Chicago 3 1/2 years ago with her two kids and her dogs. She teaches neuroscience at Ohio State, where she runs a research lab that studies how cancer affects brain function. Outside of work, she coaches middle school soccer and volunteers at the Homeless Families Foundation. Welcome to Council, Leah!
